Bookings

Bookings can be made via phone, email, or through our website and will be confirmed upon receipt of full payment. Full payment can be made via phone, PayPal or via our website.

Cancellations and Refunds

​

Any cancelation made by Peace of Wild will evoke a free transfer to an alternative date or a full refund will be available. Where the customer cancels a reservation then the effective date of cancellation will be the date the company receives written (email) notification of the cancellation. Charges regarding the timeline of cancellation on any booking can be seen here:

When notification of cancellation is received less than 21 days prior to booking date – 50% cancellation charge
When notification of cancellation is received less than 7 days in advance of booking date- 100% cancellation charge
If no notification of cancellation is received – the customer will be held liable for the full cost of the cancelled booking.

Cancellation Charges – Retreats

The following cancellation charges apply to all Retreat bookings:

• When notification of cancellation is received less than 30 days prior to booking date – 50% cancellation charge

• When notification of cancellation is received less than 14 days in advance of booking date- 100% cancellation charge

• If no notification of cancellation is received – the customer will be held liable for the full cost of the cancelled booking.

Weather

​

Weather in Scotland can be a fickle friend covering all spectrums and we can have dynamic severe conditions. If this is the case and your experience is adversely affected by the conditions we always attempt to provide worthwhile and meaningful instruction. If, in extreme cases, we have to cancel a course, then we will offer you something different or a refund, dependant on the degree of disruption.

Safety

Adventurous activities by their nature have an inherent risk. We mitigate these risks as much as is reasonably practicable by only employing experience qualified instructors.

Alcohol and Drugs

​

Peace of Wild reserve the right to refuse participation to clients they believe are under the influence of alcohol or drugs, in such circumstances no refunds shall be given and the client will be immediately asked to leave.

​

Peace of Wild reserves the right to refuse participation to any customer whose conduct or manner is likely to cause offence or upset to other participants. In such cases full cancellation charges apply and Peace of Wild will hold no further liability towards that participant.

Complaints Procedure

Peace of Wild will do everything in their power to ensure every customer has a thoroughly enjoyable experience. If any customer is dissatisfied with any part of the experience provided, the management team will take care of any complaint raised.

 

Photographs, Marketing & Social Media

​

Photographs and videos may be taken by Peace of Wild staff during your activity for marketing purposes. A selection of these will be uploaded to our social media sites of you to review and may be used for other marketing purposes and publications. It is our policy to retain the anonymity of our clients, we therefore never identify any group or person by their name. If you wish photos are not taken we ask you specify this on your booking form.

General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR) Policy

The personal data we hold on clients is :

• Name, Address, e-mail address, mobile phone no.

• Basic Information relating to their own booking with us.

• We do not share or pass their data onto anyone else.

• All medical information or disclosures are secured after the activity date.

Mailing List

​

Individuals will only ever receive marketing type e-mails from Peace of Wild , Tina Logan Yoga or Fernbank House  if they have consented to us contacting them in this way.

• We have an opt-in to our mailing list section on our booking form.

Gift Vouchers

​

Gift vouchers are valid for 12 months from date of purchase unless otherwise stated.
